This document describes a parallel processor for large  scale scientific computations. This machine is based on the experience acquired with the APE computer. It is a fine grained SIMD processor, delivering a peak speed higher than 100 GFlop. This performance is, for instance, required for high precision computations in Quantum Chromo Dynamics [QCD].
